Theresa Campo

Dr. Theresa Campo received her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland Ohio and her Master of Science in Nursing; Family Nurse Practitioner, from Widener University in Chester Pennsylvania. She has over twenty-five years of experience in emergency medicine including pre-hospital, emergency department/quick care and trauma.

Theresa has lectured nationally and internationally on various clinical, procedural and professional topics. She currently works as a nurse practitioner in the Emergency Department of a Southern New Jersey Hospital. Dr. Campo has taught clinical classes as an adjunct professor for Richard Stockton College's BSN and MSN programs. She also acts as an adjunct professor for Case Western Reserve University of Ohio.  Theresa has precepted nurse practitioner students from the University of Pennsylvania, Jefferson University, The University of Medicine and Dentistry, and The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey.

She is the Column Editor for the Cases of Note Column of the Advanced Emergency Nursing Journal. 

Dr. Campo has co-authored/co-edited a book entitled, Essential Procedures for the Emergency, Urgent and Primary Care Settings: A Clinical Companion which was released October 2010. 

She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner and is licensed in the State of New Jersey as a registered Professional Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse- Nurse Practitioner.

In 2011, Dr Campo received the "State Award for Excellence" from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
