This is the first joint educational conference of the Tennessee College of Emergency Physicians (TCEP) and the American Academy of Emergency Nurse Practitioners (AAENP) Southeastern Region. Allied Health Procedural Pre-Conference - Poster Presentations see below

This one-day pre-conference session provides a highly interactive, hands-on opportunity for NPs and PAs to obtain procedural CE. Online preparatory modules will be available prior to the conference. Continuing Education credit hours pending.

Scientific Assembly Symposium 

Hear from engaging speakers on topics including: behavioral health update, human trafficking, social media & healthcare, pediatrics, provider, & patient communication, ACEP updates, LLSA Update, dermatology tips & tricks, reimbursement & payment reform, critical care, provider wellness & work-life balance, state of the art stroke interventions, the opioid epidemic, prescribing guidelines, and pediatrics. Continuing Education credit hours pending.

The Emergency Care Symposium Pre-Conference is approved for 7.5 contact hour(s) of continuing education (which includes 2.5 hours of pharmacology) by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Activity ID 18013000. This activity was planned in accordance with AANP CE Standards and Policies.

Additional modules have been approved as enduring CE offerings and offer up to 5 additional contact hours for conference registrants to complete prior to this event. Information, including accreditation statements, will be made available to conference participants following registration.

The symposium on March 5 & 6, has approved AMA Credit: The University of Tennessee College of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 14.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
